Full description and what we offer
Mack Cody started at 11 years old with a taxidermy book from the local bookstore. He worked through trial and error, then apprenticed at a local shop during high school. Four decades later, his philosophy remains unchanged: a quality mount should look alive, not stuffed.
Mack mounts everything from small birds to African game. He's tackled rare animals like an African Grevy's Zebra and loves the challenge of unusual requests. He won't mount dogs or cats—everything else is fair game.
Completion time averages 12 months depending on workload. Mack requires a nonrefundable deposit at drop-off; remaining balance is due when the work is complete.
Payment Terms: Visa, Debit, MasterCard, cash, or personal checks accepted. 3% service fee applies to credit cards. Unpaid mounts after 30 days incur monthly late charges (10%).
Mack supports wildlife conservation through memberships with: - Ducks Unlimited - California Waterfowl Association - National Wild Turkey Federation - California Deer Association - Safari Club International - Rocky Mountain Elk Association
Outside the shop, Mack hunts, fishes, and dives throughout the US and internationally. His annual deep-sea fishing trips to Baja California for tuna, dorado, and marlin keep him sharp on fish anatomy.
