Full description and what we offer

Cottrell Hunting Ranch operates on some of Northern California's best blacktail deer and Roosevelt elk country. The ranch covers 15,000 acres of privately owned timber and grazing land, with oak woodlands and willow tree ditches that support a healthy, managed herd.

Family Legacy Since 1865

Today's 5th generation family members operate and live on the ranch. The operation combines working cattle ranch management with guided hunting that prioritizes sound herd management practices.

"The Cottrell Ranch doubtless harbors some of the best black-tailed deer habitat in the world." —Dr. J.Y. Jones, One Man, One Rifle, One Land
