Double Tap Training Center holds California BSIS licensing (TFF 1247) and operates as an authorized CCW training provider for the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department, Los Angeles Police Department, and most southern California agencies. They're also a CRPA Business Affiliate and USCCA partner.

Rangemaster Simon Cruz brings 25+ years of law enforcement and public safety experience. His certifications span federal, state, and international standards—NRA, DOJ, POST, FBI, BSIS, DHS, and IALEFI instructor credentials. Since 2014, he's served on the California Department of Consumer Affairs Advisory Board Committee representing firearm training facilities. Cruz has published articles in World of Firepower, Concealed Carry Handguns, Gun World, Tactical World, and Knives Illustrated.
