AEI Outfitter (Adventure Experiences, LLC) was started by Tim and Linda Kempfe in the mid-1980s with one goal: create outdoor experiences hunters remember for the rest of their lives. Operating under Colorado Outfitter License #1206, AEI holds special use permits from the USFS, BLM, and NPS across more than 500,000 acres of public and private land.

• •Early Season (Archery & Muzzleloader): Base camp sits on 1,500 acres of private land in Taylor Park, nestled under the Collegiate Peaks and Continental Divide. Elevations range 8,000-13,000 feet with direct access to prime elk, deer, moose, and mountain goat habitat.

• •Late Season (Rifle): Operations shift to Gunnison, Colorado with easy access to GMU 54, 55, 551, and 67 as animals migrate to winter grounds.
