MODTAC was born from real-world tactical problems. Two Army Special Forces soldiers created the company to solve suppressor heat issues they experienced in the field—the kind of annoyances and safety concerns that standard fabric covers simply don't address.

Hot suppressors create three problems: burn hazards, mirage that ruins your shot, and gear damage. MODTAC's solution uses aerospace-grade materials instead of fabric.

They manufacture four main suppressor shield systems:

The key difference: their air-gap design doesn't trap heat. Natural airflow around the suppressor means faster cooling times than traditional covers, actually extending suppressor life.
