Full description and what we offer
Phoenix Weaponry manufactures precision suppressors and integrally suppressed weapon systems for hunters, tactical users, and long-range shooters. Every suppressor is custom machined to order with your choice of materials: stainless steel or titanium cores with 6061-T6 aluminum sleeves. They build across the full spectrum—rimfire, pistol, rifle (.223/5.56, .30 cal, .338 Lapua, .45-70, .50 BMG), shotgun, and integrally suppressed complete weapons.
All materials and components are domestically sourced. No importing, no offshore shortcuts. This matters when you're filing Form 4 paperwork and dropping $200 tax stamps—you know exactly what you're getting and where it came from.
Phoenix .30 Cal - The workhorse. Built for bolt guns, autoloaders, and SBR platforms. Uses a Delta Monocore baffle system that disassembles into 3 pieces for cleaning. No O-rings, no wearable parts—just precise CNC machining.
Phoenix .50 BMG - Custom machined to order, 1"-14 thread, 12" overall length, 2.5" OD. Stainless or titanium core. Weighs 5 lbs 13.2 oz. Available with Dura Heat Coating for temperatures up to 1500°F.
Phoenix .45-70 - Precision CNC machined, available in 49/64-20 or 11/16-24 thread. 10" overall length, 30dB reduction. Stainless runs 3 lbs 0.2 oz; titanium is 1 lb 13.5 oz.
Rimfire, Pistol, .338 Lapua, .223/5.56 - All available; contact for specs.
Phoenix builds complete integrally suppressed systems across multiple platforms:
Dura Heat Coating available in matte black (standard) or custom colors: White, Stainless Steel, Interceptor Red, Gun Metal Gray, Battleship Gray, Twilight Blue, OD Green, Hunter Green, Desert Tan, Flat Dark Earth. $40 upcharge for custom single-color applications.
Phoenix handles Title II firearms—suppressors, SBRs, short-barreled shotguns, machine guns, AOWs. They understand the paperwork burden:
You need to handle the NFA filing correctly. Phoenix provides guidance on Form 1 (manufacturing), Form 4 (transfers), fingerprint cards, responsible person questionnaires, and state CLEO notification. The $200 tax stamp is just the start—the trust structure matters.
They recommend three legal resources for trust setup: - Brian R. Luther, Esq. (720) 209-5055 | [email protected] - Adam L Weitzel, Esq. (719) 355-8840 | (719) 694-3714 (fax)
| Type | Best For | Cost | Key Requirement |
|---|---|---|---|
| Personal | One or two suppressors | Lowest | You must always be present |
| Trust | Multiple items, family transfer | Moderate | Proper legal setup (gun-specific trust recommended) |
| Corporate/LLC | Frequent purchasers | Higher | Annual registration fee, officers must pass NCIC |
Critical: Suppressors must be legally purchased into the trust/corporation before the NFA filing. If you own it personally first, then try to transfer it to a trust, that's an illegal transfer. Setup first, purchase second.
Suppressors reduce sound and felt recoil for a better shooting experience. This isn't Hollywood silence, but meaningful hearing protection—especially critical for hunting and range days without doubling up on earpro.
