Full description and what to expect
Biathlon at Routt County Rifle Club combines cross-country skiing or running with precision rifle shooting—a test of both endurance and marksmanship where missed targets cost you time on the course. This October 25th event pushes intermediate shooters to stay steady after physical exertion while managing the penalty system that rewards accuracy under fatigue.
You'll alternate between skiing or running legs and shooting stages where every miss adds penalty laps or time to your total. It's the kind of competition that separates shooters who can only perform when rested from those who can deliver accurate fire when their heart's pounding.
