Cowboy Fast Draw is a SASS-sanctioned competition where you shoot timed stages with single-action revolvers, lever rifles, and shotguns while dressed in Old West gear and shooting under an alias. It's pure period-correct action shooting—fun, social, and a different flavor than paper punching.
Shooters work through scenarios that play out like Old West standoffs and gunfights. Each stage times you from draw to final shot, and you're competing against the clock and the stage itself. Happens May 3rd at Pinellas Outdoor Shooting Range in Clearwater. Shows up year-round if you want the regular action.
