Robert Strickland Shooting Range

Robert Strickland Shooting Range operates as Volusia County's public shooting facility, named after former County Council member Robert Strickland. Located at 1180 Indian Lake Road in Daytona Beach, the range is built and maintained to National Rifle Association standards—meaning infrastructure, safety systems, and range operations meet professional benchmarks.

The facility offers target positions at: - 7 yards - 15 yards - 25 yards - 50 yards - 100 yards

This range of distances handles everything from pistol fundamentals to rifle accuracy work. Whether you're zeroing optics, practicing defensive draws, or working precision rifle fundamentals, there's a station configured for it.

The range features a state-of-the-art baffle and berm system to protect patrons

Baffles catch rounds and protect adjacent shooters. Berms backstop shots downrange. The combination means you can focus on your shooting without worrying about cross-range hazards.

Each station comes equipped with variable-height swing-out seats, allowing shooters to engage targets from either the left or right side. This setup accommodates different shooting styles and physical needs—seated positions for stability work, standing for defensive scenarios.
