Volusia County Gun Club is a private shooting sports facility and NRA-affiliated gun club built by people who got tired of driving hours to find a decent place to shoot. Located in Central Florida, VCGC combines a full-service outdoor range with professional firearms instruction and competition hosting.

Their training roster covers everything from foundational pistol skills to precision long-range and tactical rifle courses. All instructors are state-certified with real-world law enforcement and security backgrounds.

Pistol Training: - Pistol Defense Fundamentals (6 hours, $350) – 50+ years combined instructor experience in LE and high-risk operations - NYA CCW Florida 1-on-1 (4 hours, $350) – Live-fire concealed carry certification valid for Florida CCW permit application. Includes loaner firearms and 200 rounds of ammunition - Advanced Pistol Defense ($499) - Manny Bragg 1-on-1 Class ($300–$600) – Named after their world champion instructor

Rifle Training: - Rifle Defense Fundamentals (6 hours, $350) - Introduction to Long Range Shooting ($250) - 1-on-1 Precision Long Range Shooting ($350) - Advanced defensive rifle courses available

VCGC operates as a private club with limited membership slots. Current pricing:

The 900-yard range operates Fridays and Sundays, reservation-only. Current restrictions: calibers .30 and below, velocity under 3,200 FPS.
