Ares Arms manufactures AR-15 style rifles designed around four core principles: quality, accuracy, flexibility, and durability. Their AA-15 and AA-16 rifle lines are machined from solid billet aluminum, which means no forging process or secondary work—just precision from start to finish.

• •Hard Chrome Bolt Carrier Groups - Every rifle ships with hard chrome bolts and carriers. This is the component that takes the most abuse in an AR platform. Hard chrome resists fouling and extends service life compared to standard phosphate finishes.

• •Single-Stage Trigger - Ares engineered their own trigger and compares it to high-end match triggers that cost significantly more. This is the benchmark they advertise against.

• •Modular Receiver System - The rifles come as complete units, but Ares also sells receivers separately if you want to build your own. The lower receiver includes a tensioning device that lets you mate it with upper receivers from other manufacturers and still get a tight fit.

The upper and lower receivers are designed to work together as a set. Ares has spent considerable engineering effort ensuring accuracy when matched pairs are used together.

If you want to use a different upper, the tensioning device in the lower receiver compensates for tolerances and still delivers an excellent fit. This flexibility is intentional—Ares understands that not every shooter wants their rifle exactly as designed.
