Full description and what we offer
Cypress Ridge Hunting Preserve operates on 500 acres of wild Georgia woodlands in Cuthbert, positioned just 30 minutes west of Orlando—close enough to sneak away from a family vacation or corporate conference, far enough to feel genuinely remote.
Established in 2012, the preserve has built a reputation for naturally-bred, free-range game animals and hands-on guide service that works for both seasoned hunters and complete beginners.
The core offering. Cypress Ridge manages for quality, never shooting bucks under three years old to let them mature properly. All whitetails reproduce naturally on the property—no "turned out right before your hunt" operations here.
The preserve maintains nine different stands, including handicap-accessible box blinds and elevated blinds across diverse terrain: hardwood forests, agricultural fields, and wetlands.
3-Day Package: $3,999 (includes lodging, food, guide service, meals, beverages, caping, and ice)
"This is not a guaranteed hunt. Our whitetails are all free range. Our guides try to put you in the right spots for the best opportunity, but we don't control the animal. It is Hunting."
Hog hunting offered as a bonus during whitetail season—take as many as you want while pursuing deer.
Randolph County's Eastern turkeys are birds with attitude. They're vocal in the roost at dawn, then go silent once they hit the ground—and when they come in silent, it's a show.
They inhabit oak hammocks, palmetto flats, cypress heads, and swamps. Guides handle calling or you can do it yourself with a guide alongside. Limited bookings each spring.
3-Day Package: $3,500 (all-inclusive, April start)
Hunt hogs at night using advanced thermal/night-vision technology. Effective population control that reduces property damage.
A long-honored tradition from European royalty, reimagined as a 30-foot tall tower with 11 shooting stations around it. One or two shooters per station. Pheasants released one at a time; you rotate stations every 10-20 birds to get different angles.
Full course releases up to 220 birds, providing rapid-fire action. After the shoot: all birds cleaned and divided equally among shooters. Lunch and fully-stocked open bar back at the lodge.
Requirements: 2¾ inch shells only, shot no heavier than #6, eye protection and safety orange vest mandatory. Shotgun rentals available. Safety gear available for purchase on-site.
