Full description and what we offer
Go Hawaii Outfitters is a family-owned and operated hunting business based on Moloka'i that has been running professionally guided hunts for over a decade. Founded and operated by Jordan Manaba, the outfitter specializes in connecting mainland and local hunters with legitimate, legal hunting opportunities across the Hawaiian islands—a reality many don't even know exists.
Moloka'i (approximately 15,000 acres of private land): - Axis Deer (Chital) – About 30,000 head on the island. These are described as "triple threats" by the guides: excellent vision, keen sense of smell, and high numbers make them legitimately challenging to hunt. Low-fat venison meat with mild flavor. - Black Buck (upon availability) - Dove, Francolin, Turkey – Known for exceptional flight hunting
Hawaii Island / Big Island (approximately 100,000 acres across multiple properties): - Spanish Goat & Hawaiian Ibex – Two distinct feral goat species - Black Hawaiian Sheep – Rugged animals found on the slopes of Maunakea and Maunaloa volcanoes - Vancouver Bulls – Aggressive game, considered one of Hawaii's only truly dangerous animals. Guides carry 12-gauge shotguns as backup. - Wild Boar – Hawaii's "classic" hunt, challenging and exciting - Mouflon (upon availability)
"Hawaii is one of the few places in which a tag is not required in order to hunt."
All hunts take place on privately owned ranches, not public land. Their guides are locals who have been hunting their entire lives—not seasonal workers. The operation emphasizes aloha spirit and conservation: they run beach and land cleanups, practice subsistence hunting principles, and treat returning clients (many come back yearly) as extended family.
Moloka'i itself is marketed as "The Friendly Isle"—no traffic, no crowds, no buildings taller than coconut trees. It's home to Hawaii's longest white sand beach and the tallest sea cliffs in the world. This isn't a convenience operation; it's a genuine destination hunt bundled with Hawaiian experience.

Axis deer rut season runs May-July—the most exciting time to hunt. This is when male axis deer are in hard horn and actively fighting, making them more aggressive and less cautious than usual.
The business is locally owned and insured, operating legally within Hawaii's hunting framework. They're registered with major hunting publications—featured in American Hunter magazine and Peterson Hunting Magazine for their use of Leupold Mark 5HD 5-25x56 scopes.
