Full description and what we offer
Outdoors International books hunting trips throughout Hawaii's islands, connecting clients with licensed local outfitters for some of the most unique big game experiences in North America. Whether you're after axis deer on Molokai, mouflon sheep on the Big Island, or feral boar across multiple islands, they handle the research, outfitter selection, and booking.
The Big Island hosts 100,000 acres of hunting property with year-round seasons for feral sheep and goats, mouflon, Black Hawaiian sheep, hogs, and Vancouver bulls. Terrain ranges from mild rolling hills to steep rugged country and cliffs near Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa volcanoes. Daytime temperatures typically run 70s-80s with spot-and-stalk hunting. The island also offers upland bird and wild turkey hunting.
Molokai is home to around 30,000 axis deer plus solid populations of blackbuck antelope, feral pigs, goats, and wild turkeys. With just under 8,000 residents, the island retains "old Hawaii" character before mass tourism. Outdoors International works exclusively with local, legal, and insured outfitters. Beyond hunting, clients can relax on Hawaii's longest white sand beach, hike secluded rainforests, and fish or crab along the shoreline.
Maui offers feral pigs, axis deer, feral goats, and wild turkeys, plus exceptional upland bird hunting for pheasants, chukar, francolin, quail, and doves. Most public land has few deer or turkeys, so guide hire or private land access is typically needed.
Other Islands: Lanai provides mouflon sheep, axis deer, and wild turkey hunts. Oahu focuses on feral pig and goat. Kauai features feral pigs, goats, and blacktail deer across rugged, densely vegetated terrain.

Prime hunting season: January through April is best for most game. Year-round seasons available for sheep and goats on several islands. No tags required on most hunts.
Hawaii's hunting regulations vary significantly by island. Each has unique seasons, public hunting areas, legal hunting days, and bag limits. Outdoors International recommends thorough research before travel, including maps of public hunting areas from Hawaii's Division of Forestry and Wildlife (DOFAW). Hiring a guide through OI's network is especially beneficial for islands with dense cover like Kauai.
