In 2023, Chazak acquired Deadwood Outfitters to fund Chazak Rescue's disaster relief mission. General Managers Shawn and Lenae Zimmerman, founders of Chazak Rescue, now run day-to-day operations while maintaining the Carter family's legacy of getting people into Idaho's wilderness.
