This is free-range hunting on public land. Success is not guaranteed.
Elevation ranges from 4,000 to 5,500 feet. The terrain is steep and demands hunters be in reasonable shape. They're transparent about this—preparation matters.
Most non-resident deer and elk tags are now allocated through outfitters in Idaho. PNW books on a first-come, first-serve basis with a signed contract and 25% non-refundable deposit to hold your spot.
