The Cranney family has been running guided hunting operations since 1989 across 600+ square miles of prime Idaho country in the Salmon-Challis National Forest. Their hunting territory borders the Frank Church Wilderness, giving hunters access to some of the most remote and productive big game habitat in the state.
Elk Hunting - Archery and controlled rifle hunts in units not open to general rifle seasons - High bull-to-cow ratios with mature, quality bulls - Controlled rifle tags available through lottery draw
Bear Hunting - Multiple methods: glass and stalk, baiting, hounds, or combinations - Backcountry horse camps or hunt from town - Black bears ranging from jet black to blonde color phases
Specialty Hunts - Licensed for bighorn sheep, mountain goat, moose, and pronghorn - Units 37A, 28, 36B, and 29 - Tag application assistance provided
Licensed on 138 miles of the Salmon River for steelhead, salmon, and trout fishing. Perfect for extending your hunt or filling extra days.
