ISTA ATA State Shoot

The Idaho State Trap Shooting Association hosts this four-day state championship at the Boise Gun Club. Trap shooting tests your ability to break clay targets launched from a single house at varying angles and distances.

This is a competitive ATA-sanctioned event where shooters face clay birds thrown at 16 yards, 20 yards, and beyond. Competition typically runs multiple squads throughout each day, with shooters rotating through different shooting positions.
