⚠️ PREDICTED EVENT - Very likely to occur based on 2 previous occurrences. This is a annual event typically held in July. Date and details could change. Contact organizer to confirm.
The Rokman Games brings together Idaho's archery enthusiasts for a challenging outdoor competition in the beautiful Ririe region. This event tests bow hunting skills in realistic field conditions with courses that simulate actual hunting scenarios across Idaho's diverse terrain.
3D archery competition offers the perfect blend of practice and fun for bowhunters. Lifesize foam animal targets are positioned throughout wooded courses at unknown distances and varying angles—just like real hunting situations. Shooters must estimate range, account for uphill/downhill shots, and deal with obstacles and brush just as they would pursuing game in Idaho's backcountry.
Divisions for all equipment types including compound, traditional recurve, longbow, and youth classes ensure fair competition. Shot distances typically range from 10 to 60+ yards depending on target size and terrain. Courses wind through natural terrain taking advantage of Idaho's stunning mountain and forest environments.
This is serious competition with a relaxed atmosphere. Experienced archers push for perfect scores while newer shooters focus on improving their field skills. Groups move through courses together, creating a social element that makes the day as much about camaraderie as competition.
Bring your bow, arrows, and field equipment. Rangefinders allowed in some divisions. Check event details for specific rules and equipment requirements. Eye protection recommended. Sturdy hiking boots essential—Idaho terrain demands good footwear.
Perfect preparation for hunting season or just a fantastic day in Idaho's outdoors testing your archery skills. These events showcase why Idaho is a premier destination for archery and bowhunting in the American West.
