WGC Steel Match

WGC Steel Match is a dynamic pistol shooting competition hosted at Parma Rod and Gun Club. Competitors engage with reactive steel targets across multiple stages, combining speed and precision in a timed format. This is a Steel Challenge-style event where accuracy matters, but so does your ability to shoot decisively.

Steel Challenge matches typically feature five different stage designs. Each stage tests different shooting techniques—from moving and shooting to engaging multiple targets. You'll shoot each stage multiple times, with your best runs counted. Targets ring or fall when hit, giving immediate feedback on performance.

This event welcomes shooters from beginners comfortable with their pistol to experienced competitors. If you can safely handle a handgun and want to challenge yourself against the clock, you belong here. Many shooters use Steel Challenge to improve their fundamentals in a fun, competitive setting.

Unlike paper targets, steel gives instant auditory and visual feedback. You know immediately if you've hit.
