Skips Gunz is a family-run gunsmithing operation founded by Skip and his family, who relocated to Calhoun County, West Virginia in 2021 specifically to pursue the firearms business. Skip relocated from New York—a state that makes firearm business ventures extremely difficult—to establish a proper gunsmithing operation in a more favorable environment.

As a licensed FFL with the U.S. Department of Justice's Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATFE), Skips Gunz handles complete firearms work including serialized frames shipped under federal overnight requirements.
