Mule Meadows

Mule Meadows is a BLM shooting area managed by the Bureau of Land Management in Fremont County, Idaho, near the community of Kilgore. As public land, it offers accessible shooting opportunities for residents and visitors seeking to practice marksmanship and enjoy shooting sports in a natural outdoor setting.

Located in the Kilgore area of Fremont County, Mule Meadows provides public access to designated shooting areas on federal Bureau of Land Management lands. The site is available for public use subject to all applicable BLM regulations and Idaho state shooting laws.

Mule Meadows supports a variety of shooting disciplines common to BLM public shooting areas:

• •Shotgun shooting - Clay target and field shooting
• •Black powder shooting - Historical and traditional firearms

As a primitive BLM area, Mule Meadows offers basic public land amenities. Visitors should be prepared for a natural outdoor environment with minimal developed infrastructure.

All shooters must comply with: - Current BLM regulations for the Fremont County area - Idaho Department of Fish and Game regulations - State and federal firearm laws - Range safety rules and cease-fire procedures

Visitors are responsible for pack-out of all brass casings, ammunition, targets, and other shooting debris to maintain the shooting area.
