South Central Snows

South Central Snows operates guided duck and goose hunts from a 230-acre private island in the heart of Pool 19, the Mississippi River's most productive waterfowl corridor. Located minutes from the boat ramp in Dallas City, Illinois, the operation sits directly in the migration path of the largest concentration of bluebills, goldeneyes, canvasbacks, and Canada geese along the flyway.

2024-2025 Central Zone Season: October 26 - December 24

Illinois daily duck limits: 6 total (with species restrictions—4 mallards max, 3 wood ducks, 2 redheads, 2 canvasbacks, 2 scaup for first 45 days). Canada geese: 3 per day. Snow geese: 20 per day with no possession limit.
