Porter's Outdoors

Porter's Outdoors has held the title of Illinois #1 Goose Hunting Club every single year since opening in 1993. They've harvested over 15,000 geese and maintain a 100% hunter success rate—not through luck, but through decades of systematic field management and guide expertise.

In 2024, the club was purchased by long-time guide Brian Griffin and his wife Kristin, who've continued the operation's reputation for consistent results.

Porter's operates heated, comfortable blinds and pits across three counties in northern Illinois' northeast zone. The operation scouts locations daily and limits hunter numbers to guarantee you actual shooting opportunities—not just a day in the blind.

Morning and afternoon hunts available. Morning hunts often limit out by 8:30 AM.

Hunters who book once typically become regulars. Common feedback: groups that started with one or two people now bring 8+ people annually. First-time hunters frequently catch banded geese. The operation manages decoy placement, calling, field selection, and blind positioning—you show up ready to shoot.
