Urban Warfare Paintball

Urban Warfare has been running paintball matches in Bloomington-Normal since 2009, and now operates under fresh ownership focused on expanding what the facility offers. They're the only paintball venue in Central Illinois with over 30,000 square feet of dedicated indoor space—a game changer for year-round play regardless of weather.

The facility splits its offering across indoor and outdoor areas:

Urban Warfare runs both traditional paintball and low-impact paintball, so you're not locked into one experience. Traditional hits harder; low-impact still stings but significantly less. Both options work for:

Most paintball venues are outdoor-only or cramped indoor boxes. Urban Warfare has 30,000+ square feet of space split between climate-controlled indoor play and sprawling outdoor fields. Add in mobile laser tag—which you literally cannot do at a fixed-location paintball field—and they've covered every angle. New ownership in January 2025 has reinvigorated the operation with a focus on customer experience and inclusive gameplay for all experience levels.
