Full description and what we offer
Anthony Wayne Area Council administers Boy Scouts of America programs across Adams, DeKalb, Huntington, Jay, and Wells Counties. They serve youth from kindergarten through age 20 across four main programs.
Cub Scouts (K-5, ages 5-10) introduces young kids to outdoor skills—archery, wood carving for pinewood derbies, and hands-on activities.
Scouts BSA (ages 11-17) emphasizes character, leadership, citizenship, and personal fitness through merit badges and outdoor expeditions.
Venturing & Sea Scouts (ages 13-20) puts teens in charge. Youth plan and run their own activities—higher-risk, higher-reward outdoor experiences.
Exploring (ages 13-20) focuses on career exposure. Students shadow professionals across different fields and network with working adults.
Open to all youth. Units operate year-round with camping, training, and advancement tracking through ScoutBook and Internet Advancement 2.0.
Scout Shop on-site for uniforms and gear.
