Full description and what to expect
At that time, the club operated out of the basement of a hotel in Bloomington, IN. In1968, HHRP and the Noon Optimist club worked together to build a concrete block improvement to a disused building that was part of the Bakalar Airbase in Columbus, IN to use as an indoor range. HHRP and the Noon Optimist Club operated the building for the Boy Scout Explorers and Youth Marksmanship teams and as the club indoor range. The property was leased from the Columbus Airport and in 2019 the lease was not renewed due to being unable to come to an agreement with the airport board on new terms of the lease and the property reverted to the city.
