Location details and information
Five Points Conservation Club is a dedicated trap shooting facility serving the Indianapolis, Indiana community and surrounding regions. As a conservation-focused shooting club, we promote the sport of trap shooting while fostering stewardship of shooting sports traditions.
We offer a variety of trap shooting experiences:
- •Public Trap Shooting - Open to the public every Thursday evening starting at 5:30pm (April through November). No experience or equipment required to participate.
- •Youth Trap Team Practice - Dedicated program for shooters under 21, practicing twice monthly to develop skills and competitive experience.
- •Stillboard Competitions - Specialized shooting events held in spring, summer, and fall (scheduled dates: April 29, July 29, and September 30, 2025).
- •Turkey Shoot Tournaments - Seasonal events held in November, December, and March featuring stillboard and 10-bird trap shooting competitions with prizes.
- •Beginner Instruction - New shooters welcome with guidance available; trap is the oldest shotgun sport and an excellent entry point for shooting sports.
Public trap shooting sessions run Thursday evenings at 5:30pm during the April-November season. Youth programs operate on a twice-monthly schedule. Specific tournament dates and times are available through our events calendar. First-time shooters are encouraged to visit—no prior experience or equipment needed to get started.
Whether you're a seasoned shooter or curious about trap shooting for the first time, Five Points Conservation Club welcomes you. Our community focuses on safe, enjoyable shooting sports experiences.
