Iowa Pheasants 'n More

In 1995, Dale and JoAnn Fisher had a vision: build a hunting lodge in Belle Plaine. They took down a barn on a family farm, labeled every piece, and rebuilt it in town—like a puzzle. By fall, the lodge was complete. Dale ran the operation until 2022, when his son Eric and daughter-in-law Julie took over. Repeat customers keep coming back, which says everything about what they've built.

Preserve Pheasant Hunts - Season runs September 1 - March 31 (typically starting mid-late September when temps cool) - Half-day: 8am-noon or 12:30pm-4:30pm. 3-bird limit per person - Full-day: 6-bird limit per person - Extra birds: $25 each

Wild Bird Hunts - Season: Last weekend in October through January 10 - Hours: 8am-4:30pm - 3 rooster limit per day

Guide Service - Half-day: $150 (max 4 hunters) - Full-day: $250 (max 4 hunters) - Additional hunters: $40/person (requires approval) - Bird cleaning: $5 per bird

4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, sleeps 12-14. Full kitchen with all cooking gear included. Available for overnight stays before your hunt.
