Summer trap and skeet league at Ankeny Ikes combines two different target games in one outing. Trap teaches sustained lead on outgoing targets; skeet sharpens your ability to read crossing angles from two houses. You'll shoot both disciplines in the same session and build skills that carry between them.
This is a league format running through the summer, so you're shooting against a consistent group and tracking your scores over time. Mixed skill shooters compete together, making it a solid way to dial in your swing mechanics before fall hunting season or just stay sharp through the heat.
