Five Star Expeditions specializes in guided hunts for trophy whitetails across southern Iowa's rolling hills and farm country. The outfitter holds exclusive leases on thousands of acres of prime habitat in the renowned Zone 4, where superior genetics and land management consistently produce some of North America's best trophy bucks.

All prices include lodging, meals, full guide service, field care of trophy, and meat processing. Tax and license fees are additional.

These hunts regularly produce bucks averaging over 150", with several 160"-180" bucks taken every season.

Five Star operates two main lodges and outpost camps strategically located across farm clusters that can span up to 50 miles apart. They move hunters between locations based on deer movement and success patterns to maximize your chances. Hotel lodging is also available, particularly during late season muzzleloader hunts.

Iowa is a preference point state. Non-residents should have: - At least 1 point for gun hunts (muzzleloader or shotgun) - 3 points for archery hunts

Preference points cost $50 each and can be purchased during the May–June application period through the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. The outfitter's office can assist with licensing and point purchases.
