Located in the basement of 300 S 13th Street in Fort Dodge, the Rifle and Pistol Club of Fort Dodge operates a well-maintained indoor shooting range exclusively for dues-paying members. The club is incorporated under Iowa law and maintains a strong commitment to firearm safety, marksmanship, and community engagement.
The indoor range features ten firing stations positioned at 50 feet, designed specifically for rifle and pistol shooting in a controlled environment. Members benefit from a clean, organized facility with proper ventilation and lighting systems.
The club welcomes new members through a straightforward joining process. Annual membership dues are $140, with discounted senior memberships available at $100 (age 65+) and spouse memberships at $30. National Rifle Association (NRA) membership is required for all club members.
Prospective members can attend monthly meetings held on the second Thursday of each month at approximately 6:00 PM, or arrange a private orientation with a board member at the range. The joining process includes completing a membership form, signing a waiver, and receiving a comprehensive club orientation covering all rules and range procedures.
