Full description and what we offer
Joe Wayner has been mounting game for over two decades, and it shows. A certified taxidermist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Washburn University, he approaches every piece like the art form it is. Whether you're preserving a whitetail shoulder mount or a pheasant in flight, Wayner's eye for detail ensures your trophy comes home looking like the moment you took it.
What You're Getting
Custom taxidermy work tailored to your specifications—not cookie-cutter mounts. Wayner hunts archery himself and understands what matters to hunters: accuracy, craftsmanship, and the kind of detail that makes a mount last a lifetime. State-level competition awards back up the work.
Impact Taxidermy School
Beyond his shop work, Wayner runs an online taxidermy school for serious learners. The whitetail deer course ($700) covers skinning, fleshing, tanning, and mounting fundamentals. Additional courses in birds, lifesize mammals, and fish are in development. Each course gives you a year of unlimited access plus lifetime membership to his private Facebook group—where he logs on every Friday for live Q&A sessions.
The school teaches a proven system, not theory. You work through the curriculum at your own pace and get ongoing coaching from someone who's been doing this professionally for over 20 years.
