Heartland Pride Outfitters didn't start as a hunting company. The Kuck family has farmed and ranched their Gosper County, Nebraska property since 1936—that's 80 years of knowing the land, the weather, and the game. When Cody Kuck graduated high school in 2006, he attended a hunting guide school in Colorado and worked elk seasons there, but kept his focus on building something at home.

By January 2008, he and best friend Jorden Schwarz officially launched Heartland Pride.
"Since 2008, Heartland Pride Outfitters has naturally grown through hard work, trusting relationships with landowners & customers, and a never give up attitude."
Today, both Cody and Jorden still live in Bertrand, Nebraska, and still farm and ranch alongside their guiding work. That's not marketing—it's their actual life.
Nebraska Operations: - Two dedicated hunting camps - Multiple counties across the state - Access to crop fields, pasture, and ranch country
Kansas Operations: - Two additional hunting camps - Same farming and ranching territory
They handle single hunters and corporate groups. Website mentions "memorable & successful hunts" backed up by photos and video documentation of actual client results.
Contact Cody or Jorden directly with questions about packages, timing, and what's available for your hunt.
The operation grew specifically through word-of-mouth and repeat customers—not slick marketing. If you're looking for guides who know their territory because they live and work it, this is the model.
