Full description and what we offer
Tornado Alley Waterfowl (TAW) operates private guided waterfowl hunts in Kansas with a straightforward philosophy: scout hard, hunt where the birds are, and keep your group's experience separate from everyone else's.
They're not locked to their leases. Access to over 30,000 acres means they move based on bird activity, not convenience. The 2024 season recap shows this in action—when January brought brutal cold, ice, and snow, TAW adapted the game plan and kept hunts successful. When conditions shifted and birds branched out, they moved again.
TAW uses laydown blinds, permanent blinds, A-frames, and panel blinds in whatever settings hold birds—ponds, sloughs, rivers, naturally flooded fields, dry fields. If the birds are there, that's where you'll be.
"These are your hunts." No mixing groups in the field or lodge. You hunt with your people, stay with your people. This isn't a policy—it's standard.
Two properties: - The Ridge - Newest addition, 30 acres, five bedrooms, two full baths, full kitchen, dining, living room, mud room, utility room - The Oaks - Original lodge (expanding in 2025)
Their website covers what you'll need to bring and prepare before arrival. Guided hunts, so experience level varies—they work with different skill sets.
2025 Season Plans: New lodge under construction to better accommodate group sizes. Follow their Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube for real-time season updates.
