Don's Hunting Adventures is a working farm that opens its land to hunters from September through April. The operation is owned by Don, an avid hunter with well over 50 years in the field. When Don travels, Justin and Caroline manage day-to-day operations and guide hunts.
The preserve stocks three game bird species:

Guided Hunts with Dogs - $40 per hunter (plus tip and bird cost) - Staff plants birds and guides you with trained retrievers - Dogs flush, retrieve, and you shoot
Hunt with Your Own Dog - Bird cost only - Bring your dog to train and retrieve - Staff can plant birds or you can set them yourself
European Tower Shoots - $170 per person (includes lunch and cleaned birds) - Monthly events October through March - Safety briefing and hunter orange required - You'll shoot 12 stations and take home roughly 4 pheasants per person - Important: Use 7½ shot for clays warmup; high-power #6 shot for pheasants. Do not use 3" or 3½" shells—they damage the tower
Bird Cleaning - $1.50 per bird upon request
Private tower shoots available with a minimum of 12 hunters. Call to schedule.
