Louisville Armory

Louisville Armory's indoor range includes twelve lanes for pistol and six lanes for rifle and pistol. The lanes run twenty-five yards long, with markers at three, five, seven, ten, and fifteen yards for positioning targets. Each lane has an automatic target holder, individual stall lighting, sound-absorbing material, and armor plating between lanes, along with an environmental control system for the bays.

The range operates first come, first served, with lanes rented in half-hour and hour increments. A government-issued photo ID is required to shoot, and first-time visitors sign a liability waiver, valid for a year, followed by a range orientation and safety briefing. Firearms brought onto the property must be cased, holstered, or bagged rather than carried exposed. The location also includes a retail store, private instruction, and training classes.
