Ace's Retrievers is a family-owned kennel in Kiln, Mississippi, specializing in Labrador Retrievers bred from imported UK working bloodlines. The operation is built on 60 combined years of training knowledge and a commitment to matching the exact dog to the exact family. They work with hunters who understand that a retriever is a serious investment, not just a pet.
Puppies start from proven UK lines selected for health, trainability, and work drive. Females mature at 45-55 lbs, males 50-65 lbs. Colors available: black, fox red, and all shades of yellow. Puppies are bred as either working dogs, companion dogs, or a combination of both. An online training program is coming in 2026 to support puppy owners.
Started Dogs are their most popular offering. These dogs arrive with foundation training and are available in several specialties: - Duck/dove basic and premium programs - Blood trailing foundation - Upland hunting basics - Custom combinations
Finished Dogs are the premium option—direct UK imports trained to UK field trial standards, which emphasize precision, style, and natural ability differently than American field trials. Every finished dog undergoes comprehensive health testing and a specialized transition training course in the US, acclimating them to decoys, side-by-sides, mud boats, and whatever custom elements your hunting style requires. These are extremely well-mannered and quiet in the field and at home. Limited supply available; serious hunters should reach out early to secure their pick.
Sires and Dams are carefully selected breeding stock that produce top-shelf UK Labradors.
