Full description and what we offer
J. Kevin Brocato built Masters of the Sky on a simple philosophy: "Perfection through Persistence." As an avid waterfowl hunter frustrated with the taxidermy work he was receiving, he decided to master bird taxidermy himself—and became one of the best in the country.
Every mount is handmade from sculpted bills and bodies through final painting. Brocato's dual expertise as both a taxidermist and hunter gives him acute anatomical accuracy that shows in his work. His pieces have won multiple awards and hang in dens, studies, game rooms, and offices across the country.
"A waterfowl mount by Kevin Brocato will be a beautiful addition to your space for years to come, yet his prices are reasonable."
Masters of the Sky accepts birds via UPS or FedEx (next-day air in summer, 2nd-day in winter). The studio is an approved USDA establishment to receive specimens from Mexico, Central/South America, and other foreign countries. International shipping handled via DHL.
Each bird must be tagged per USFWS Federal Law (Lacy Act) with name, address, phone, hunting license number, collection date/location, species, and signature.
