J. Kevin Brocato built Masters of the Sky on a simple philosophy: "Perfection through Persistence." As an avid waterfowl hunter frustrated with the taxidermy work he was receiving, he decided to master bird taxidermy himself—and became one of the best in the country.

Every mount is handmade from sculpted bills and bodies through final painting. Brocato's dual expertise as both a taxidermist and hunter gives him acute anatomical accuracy that shows in his work. His pieces have won multiple awards and hang in dens, studies, game rooms, and offices across the country.

• •Custom Taxidermy - Individual bird mounts with painted artificial bills and quality eyes. Wood Duck Drakes include artificial eye rings.
• •Wholesale Services - Two tiers: client-ready mounts (feet painted, on driftwood) or finishing-work mounts (you add final touches). 4-8 month turnaround. 50% deposit required.
• •Guided Hunts - Multi-day waterfowl hunts for 13+ duck species across North/Central Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, and Mexico. Kevin provides boats, blinds, decoys, and connections to premium outfitters worldwide. November through January 15th.
• •Taxidermy Classes - 2-5 day workshops tailored to skill level. Covers specimen analysis, anatomy, skin prep, casting, painting, airbrushing, and competition techniques. One-on-one instruction.
• •Guide & Consulting - Expert advice on trophy specimens and hunting destinations.

Masters of the Sky accepts birds via UPS or FedEx (next-day air in summer, 2nd-day in winter). The studio is an approved USDA establishment to receive specimens from Mexico, Central/South America, and other foreign countries. International shipping handled via DHL.
