NOLA Hunt & Fish operates guided alligator hunts across 17,500+ acres of privately owned marsh in Orleans Parish, Louisiana. The operation was built on a genuine passion for the outdoors—owner Capt. Logan Davis grew up on his great-grandfather's strawberry farm and has spent nearly three decades turning that early love of hunting and fishing into a professional outfitting business.
The standard package accommodates 4 hunters per trip and runs Thursday noon through Sunday noon:

The experience mixes traditional and modern techniques:

Capt. Logan Davis oversees all alligator hunts and heads duck hunts. Capt. Jacob Stevens was born and raised in rural Ponchatoula and spent his childhood in the Tangipahoa River swamps—he brings 30 years of hunting experience. Brennan Russell hunts from family land in Innis and specializes in whitetail and waterfowl. Doug Lirette grew up in Houma swamps where his family has hunted for generations. All guides are licensed captains with deep roots in South Louisiana hunting culture.

You should bring: - Lightweight, moisture-wicking clothes (expect 89-95°F with high humidity) - Sunglasses - Rain gear or poncho - Sunscreen - Closed-toed shoes - Change of clothes - Camera and device chargers - Optional: snacks and drinks (ice chest with bottled water provided)
All processing happens offsite. Hunters can purchase meat, hides, and skulls after the trip. Your included mounted head gets shipped to you.

Captains make the call on safety based on forecast. If inclement weather cancels your hunt, your deposit applies to a rescheduled date (pending availability).
While not required, guides appreciate tips for the year-round planning and preparation that goes into each hunt.
