Grove Hill Outfitters is a veteran and family-owned outfitter completely secluded on 600 acres just north of Brownville Junction in the heart of Maine's hunting country. They specialize in hunts that don't leave you wondering what to do after day one—combo packages that let you pursue multiple game types during the same trip.
Black Bear Hunts are their core offering: - Over Bait: $2,950 per bear (5 days, 6 nights) - Hound Hunts: $4,950 (5 days, 6 nights) - Bait/Trap Combo: $4,500 for two bears
They have exclusive access to nearly 300 square miles in the North Maine Woods with some of the state's best Black Bear sites. Bait is prepared weeks before your arrival.
Whitetail Hunts run during rifle season (November 16-23): $1,500 for 6 days and 7 nights on hundreds of thousands of free-range acres. Semi-guided hunts tailored to your skill level.
Trophy Red Stag Hunts on their private hunting preserve feature European Red Deer and Fallow Deer—trophy and meat-quality animals.
Moose Hunts (lottery-dependent): $5,500 for guided hunts in Zones 9, 10 & 14, or $2,500 for unguided accommodations.
"Hunt a red stag in the morning and a Black Bear in the afternoon and evening, or Bear hunt with hounds in the morning and hunt a trophy red stag in the evening."
Combo packages come with a $500 discount on Trophy Red Stag when paired with any Maine hunt. This setup means harvesting game on day one doesn't end your trip—you keep hunting.
