River Lodge Outfitters sits in one of North America's premier waterfowl zones: the Platte River area of South Central Nebraska. This Shooting Sportsman-endorsed operation has built a reputation for consistently successful duck, goose, and pheasant hunts that keep guests coming back season after season.

Every package includes guided hunting, lodging in a 14,000 sq ft luxury lodge, exquisite meals, beer and wine, ammunition, loaner guns, and bird processing. Airport pickup from Kearney, NE is arranged. The operation keeps hunting parties sized at 6-8 guests—big enough to feel social, small enough for personal attention.

Bird season runs November through January. You can hunt:

•Waterfowl only: Mallards, green-wing teal, gadwall, pintails, American wigeon, wood ducks, Canada geese
•Upland: Pheasants
•Combination packages: Mix waterfowl and pheasant hunts in the same trip

Daily bag limits: 6 ducks, 5 Canada geese, 3 pheasants.

Beyond the hunting, the property features a saltwater pool for warm months, two outdoor hot tubs, and on-site laundry facilities. Non-hunting guests are welcome, making it work for families or mixed groups.
