Located 30 minutes north of Bangor in Penobscot County, Mid Maine Outfitters operates guided hunts across central and northern Maine. Troy and Brenda White host hunters from their main camp on 700 acres with a private pond, and maintain several satellite camps positioned at strategic hunting locations throughout the state.
Troy has 30 years of bear hunting and guiding experience, with 35 years hunting this region. For spring bear hunts on Penobscot Nation territories, they partner with experienced tribal guides Joe Dana and John Neptune. All guides are Registered Maine Guides with minimum 12 years of experience.

Meals are an additional $250 per person for deer and small game hunts. Home-cooked meals prepared by Troy's mother, Nonie.
Modern camps with full kitchens, bathrooms with showers, running water, and heat. The main camp includes satellite TV and wireless internet. Troy grooms trails for snowmobiling, snowshoeing, hiking, and cross-country skiing. The river camp sits on 20 acres on the Penobscot River with canoe and small boat access.
Non-hunters can fish the private trout pond, fish the Penobscot River for smallmouth bass (with guide available), visit Acadia National Park (1.5 hours), hike Mount Katahdin in Baxter State Park (1 hour), or golf at courses within 30 minutes.
