Full description and what we offer
Thad Bowman spent 16 years as an Air Force aircraft mechanic stationed across New Jersey, Alaska, and Maryland. But his real passion has always been the outdoors—hunting whitetails and turkeys in West Virginia, fishing creeks, and working with his hands. After retiring from the Air Force in August 2024, he made taxidermy his full-time business.
Bowman passed his Maryland Taxidermist Test in April 2019 and immediately started training with award-winning taxidermists. He's competed in multiple states and earned a blue ribbon on his most recent competition piece. His goal is straightforward: high quality work at reasonable prices. Not everyone wants to pay premium rates for trophy preservation, and you shouldn't have to.
Ducks ($400), geese ($550), and swans ($850). Federal law requires all migratory birds be tagged with your name, address, species, license number, and harvest location.
Turkey mounts on bases or limbs ($850–$950), turkey parts ($175–$450), and other upland birds ($375).
Proper handling matters. For waterfowl: fold the head under the wing, bag it, remove air, and freeze. Don't cut or clean. Bowman can return the meat upon request.
"I still love to hunt and fish and look forward to hearing all about your hunt when you drop your trophy off to us."
