Full description and what we offer
EastCoast PowderCoat has been coating metal for over 20 years—17 of those years running their current operation in North East, Maryland. Here's the core difference: while factories run parts through conveyor systems with robot spraying and minimal prep, ECPC treats each piece individually.
Powder coating is a baked-on alternative to liquid paint. It's more durable and cost-effective for metal parts. You probably own powder coated items without realizing it—refrigerators, car wheels, patio furniture, motorcycle parts. The key difference is in the prep work.
At ECPC, every piece goes through: - Media blasting (sandblasting) to remove rust, oils, mill scale, and old coatings - Individual handling at every step from blasting to application - Masking and plugging to protect areas that shouldn't be coated - Fill work available for minor metal imperfections
Two walk-in ovens—the largest 21 feet long. They coat everything that fits and can be hung: - Car frames and top-fuel dragster frames - Motorcycle frames and engine cases - Vintage clawfoot tubs and farm sinks - Engine parts, intake manifolds, valve covers - Exhaust systems, wheels, handlebars - Wrought iron, sculptures, light fixtures - Individual nuts and bolts
Special finishes available: Candy over chrome, gloss clear over polished aluminum, and over 2,500 color options including custom blends and special-order powders.
