Full description and what to expect
Cub Scouts shooting sports at Franklin Rod & Gun Club gives young shooters their first structured introduction to firearms safety and marksmanship under BSA-certified instruction. This is where scouts build foundational skills and work toward shooting-related merit badges in a controlled, supervised environment.
Adult instructors run the range, handle safety protocols, and guide each scout through proper technique. The troop coordinates the event, so parents and scouts work directly with them on logistics and participation details.
