Ames Rifle & Pistol Club

Ames Rifle & Pistol Shooting Club is a members-only shooting facility in North Easton, Massachusetts, serving shooters of all skill levels since 1936. Located in Southern New England, this thriving club brings together passionate marksmen for competitive and recreational shooting.

Founded in 1936 by a small group of enthusiasts, Ames Rifle & Pistol Shooting Club has grown into a premier destination for shooting sports. The club welcomes new members regardless of experience level and maintains a strong community focus with regular events, training programs, and competitive teams.

Ames offers comprehensive shooting facilities:

The club operates multiple competitive teams and programs:

• •Rifle Team - Tuesday evening matches, home and away competitions. Summer league runs Tuesday after Memorial Day through mid-August featuring 20-round offhand events at 200 yards. Open to any rifle, sights, action, and skill level.
• •Pistol Team - Thursday night league matches at indoor range and participating clubs. 30+ year history with experienced mentors. Gallery Pistol Match format with slow fire, timed fire, and rapid fire rounds.
• •Junior Rifle Team - Youth program supporting competitive shooting development
• •Boy Scout Rifle Merit Badge Program - Training available for local scout troops
• •Action Shooting Team - Dynamic, practical marksmanship competitions
