The upper 1000-yard range is restricted to certified shooters who've completed qualification requirements. All new long-range members receive a training course before attempting certification.

The club takes long-range shooting seriously. New long-range members must complete an orientation ($40 fee, waivable with proof of prior training) that involves:

Once certified, you'll receive a unique colored card that must be displayed when shooting long-range. The club enforces self-policing of this requirement.
All members complete 8 hours of work annually (fulfilled via scheduled work days, events, or matches). There's a $100 annual maintenance fee charged in April, which is refunded if you complete your 8 hours.

As of October 1, 2025, all members, trainers, and students must complete a new liability waiver to use the range. Signed copies are emailed to [email protected] or available at the clubhouse.
