Commando Paintball

Commando Paintball launched in 2023 as a fresh addition to the Detroit paintball scene. Their 6,000-square-foot indoor facility is purpose-built for speedball—the fast-paced competitive format—with equipment that's clean and new across the board.

Sessions run two hours. You need a minimum of 6 players to reserve, with a maximum capacity of 24 people total (12 on the field at once). Call ahead to check for walk-in availability.

Safety without the stiffness. Their refs enforce safety rules strictly—because safety keeps everyone playing longer. But game rules? If your group wants to adjust them in a way everyone agrees on, they're cool with it. The staff leads by example, not lectures.

New equipment, clean field. Being brand new means no worn-out gear or beat-up facilities. Everything works, everything looks fresh.

Actual staging area. They've got a dedicated space for players to gear up, lock and load, and spectators to hang out and watch. Not crammed into a corner.

Private party rooms with personality. The party rooms feature custom artwork and give you actual separation from walk-in games—not just a folding table in the corner.
