Great Lakes Guided Outdoors, hosted through GuideTime, offers full-day guided waterfowl hunts near Saginaw Bay in Michigan's Middle Zone. These hunts run during Michigan's regular season, which typically opens the first Saturday in October.
Hunts take place primarily on private agricultural fields, but also include:
The guide scouts locations before your hunt and selects based on the best opportunity for your booking date.
Standard bag limits: - 3 Canadian geese - 6 ducks
Bonus species like Brant, Snow geese, Ross geese, and White-fronted geese occasionally present themselves—not guaranteed, but a nice bonus when conditions align.
Prepare for unpredictable Michigan fall weather—temperatures can range from 0°F to 65°F the same day. Duck hunters should bring waders; knee-high boots work if you're hunting drier fields.
